About Me
Hey! I’m Stephanie and I’m glad you’re here!
My style as therapist is effective but casual (swearing and humor are more than welcome). I lean on treatments supported by research, guided by your goals, with a welcoming and relaxed style.
I’ve been a therapist for over 10 years and received my degrees in psychology and social work, with additional training in a variety of research supported treatments for anxiety, OCD, trauma, and stress. I also have training in social justice and systems frameworks and, when applicable, I help clients take a look at how family, culture, ethnicity and social norms impact them. I am also LGBTQ+ affirming and seek to provide a safe and welcoming space for everyone.
A little about me: I live in the area, I’m a mom of 2, and I’m a recovering perfectionist. I crochet, bake, and love walking in the summer and hibernating in the winter.
If you’re curious about the specific interventions I offer, they include ERP (exposure and response prevention), ICBT (inference based cognitive behavioral therapy), CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy), ACT (acceptance and commitment therapy), and PE (prolonged exposure).
